Time is as fleeting as your teeth.

I have to go to the dentist today to get a filling. I am constantly reminded of this by an annoying little alarm clock in my head. *Ding* Five hours until the dentist. *Ding* Four hours and 58 minutes until the dentist. *Ding* well, you get the picture.

I did wander into some metaphor as I was fixing myself a pre-dental snack. Have you noticed that one's teeth almost always are replaced with fakes before one dies (of old age related stuff)? Scripture talks about our bodies being consumed by worms after death, but our teeth are adios'd long before that! Is this a sign that we need to be vigilant because life is short? YES! Oh, and floss.

Unrelated, this is our backyard. With friends like these, who needs teeth?
