Lewis & Clark with Twisted Hair. (If you visit the governor's office in the Capitol, you can get a complimentary book for kids about Idaho history and an explanation of this statue and who Twisted Hair was is in there. Just stop in and ask. If you are lucky, you can sit in the gov's chair and admire the history tea set.)
Mosaic in the parking garage
Ren evidently didn't want to smile with the art.Another in the garage.
The City of Boise's Art Dept has an Alphabet book that is all local public art. There is TONS of it in this area - not just downtown, but in parks all over the city. There is a walking tour map for downtown that can be scaled down for kids. What is great is that it is all art they can touch! Wonderful!
