Movements

Ren is crawling, climbing, standing, and stepping with assistance. What fun it is to have a kiddo constantly climbing your pant leg and the dining room chairs and anything else vertical. The mechanics of it all is really great.


Another big joy is that Ren pooped on the toilet. Yup, 10 months old. Granted, she didn't indicate the need to go other than a focused silence as she took all of her mental energy toward her belly button. That was my cue. Off went the diaper. We sat on the potty and played with the toilet paper roll and bath toys until...drum roll please... those familiar poop sounds and plop! Eureka!! This has happened twice now. It really is just timing and taking cues. We'll see how it goes.
