Little Wicked Girlies

You guessed it, Girl Scout Cookie time. Why is it that you can buy similar cookies in the store, year around, yet in February, these are the most delicious snack-til-you-gag delectables ever??? Tell me why!! Is it because they strategically come during Lent? Hmm.

Oh, they are so tasty. Samoas are my favorite. Followed by the chocolate covered peanut butter delights called Tagalongs. Oh the JOY of it all.

Even worse, I was a Girl Scout for many, many years and must credit scouting for many valuable lessons learned and leadership opportunities taken. So, I know that selling cookies is a valuable fundraiser (especially at over $3 a box - dang). Scouting does great things and I say "Gold Star" to the adults who support their girls by being leaders, helpers, and volunteers. Every now and then, from the deep recesses of myself, the "Make New Friends" song comes popping out of my mouth. Oh my.
