Even beyond the strong moral and spiritual frameworks that we, as parents, are supposed to provide in order for our children to not slide into sin, selfishness, or other unpleasantries, a slide free surface on which to play might be helpful, too. (Then again, there is always the gain of a new perspective every few minutes!)
